International Film Festivals
Based upon your language skills and interests, VCUarts Cinema will work with our international university partners in the OIE , Office of International Education, to place our advanced students in festivals and independent cinema productions in Mexico, Spain, Italy and France.
La FEMIS
La FEMIS, the leading advanced film school in France and one of the leading schools in Europe shot five short films in 35mm with VCU Cinema students based on the screenplay written by a Cinema student.
VCU French Film Festival
The largest festival of new French films outside of France.
Internships
These recommended work experiences with professional film organizations are available for advanced Cinema students on a competitive basis including the Virginia Film Office, the State’s liaison with Hollywood production companies and independent filmmakers, independent production companies.
