Visiting VCUarts Music

Are you a high school Senior, Junior, or Sophomore who would like to spend  a day on VCU’s campus and experience what it is like to be a music major? You’ll “shadow”, or be paired with, a current VCU student as they attend their music classes, and receive a free lesson from a VCU Music faculty member.

We’ve got good news! You can schedule an in-person or virtual visit to VCU Music right here on this page. Spending time on VCU’s campus, meeting students, and working with faculty is the best way for you to experience VCU Music and learn about our program. It’s also a wonderful way for us to get to know you before your audition.

To schedule your visit, simply fill out the form below. You will hear from us within 5 business days with more details including a date confirmation and details about your schedule, parking, and more. Please note: We recommend visiting in person if at all possible, but recognize that may not be possible for everyone. If you have additional questions, don’t hesitate to email us at apply4music@vcu.edu

We’re thrilled you are interested in VCU Music and look forward to meeting you!
