On any given day at VCUarts, you could have the chance to hear from a visiting artist, scholar or professional who share their expertise and advice. You’ll gain insight into their careers and the future of the arts through classroom visits, one-on-one discussions, public lectures, concerts and critiques with students and faculty. Visiting artists come from many disciplines and professional backgrounds including musicians, curators, sound artists, photographers, documentarians, educators, dancers and painters.
The visiting artist program directly connects you to some of the most talented, professional artists in the world. They foster an environment where you can contemplate the arts and design as a fundamental part of culture and open discourse.
