Painting + Printmaking hosts a range of public programs including lectures and exhibitions. Each year, the department hosts six to eight lectures by artists, curators and critics, many of which are organized in partnership with other departments at VCUarts or the Institute for Contemporary Art at VCU. These visitors also work with students through studio visits, workshops or class visits. In addition, Painting + Printmaking hosts exhibitions for graduate and undergraduate students.
