Dr. Magdalena Adamek hosts RSO Symphony violinist and the Alexander Technique certified specialist Dr. Jocelyn Adelman-Vorenberg for a virtual session for students and faculty. This workshop is a part of the Student Health and wellness initiative.
The Alexander Technique will help you develop greater awareness of postural habits that get in the way of your natural coordination. You learn the skills to undo potentially unhealthy patterns and to make the choice to move without them. In the online lesson using verbal instruction from the teacher, you will learn how to go about playing your instrument as well as your daily activities with increasingly greater ease and less effort.
