In honor of Dr. Terry Austin’s 36 years of service at VCU Arts in the Music department and 48 years in music education overall, we are excited to host an Alumni concert in his honor. A band consisting of university Alumni will perform on Saturday, June 11th from 7pm-9pm with a reception following. The concert will be held at the Singleton Center for Performing Arts. While the event is free for any to attend, advance seat registration is required and can be completed at this link.
A committee of Alumni are hoping to establish a scholarship endowment in Dr. Austin’s name and are looking to collect $50,000 dollars. Donations to the endowment can be made at the same time as seat reservation if attendees are so inclined.
