VCUarts Dance is excited to host “It’s Giving: New Directions in Dance ft. Jason Rodriguez” as a movement-based workshop on Friday, April 5th at 9:00 in Studio 203 at the Dance Center (10 N. Brunswick). This is a hybrid event so attendees may attend either in person or over zoom. After the movement portion of the workshop there will be a Q&A session facilitated by Dance Professor Dr. Julian Glover.
Please note in-person attendees should wear clothes that they feel comfortable moving in.
Jason Rodriguez is a Dominican-American actor and dancer who is known for his role of Lemar Kahn on FX’s Pose. Rodriguez was also a movement coach and choreographer for Pose’s second season. Jason has taught vogue in various institutions throughout the United States as well as internationally in Dominican Republic, Vienna, and Japan.
