As part of VCU Music’s Mary Anne Rennolds Chamber Concert Series, the Isidore String Quartet will perform on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 3:00pm in the Sonia Vlahcevic Concert Hall in the Singleton Center for Performing Arts.
The Isidore Quartet won the 14th Banff International String Quartet Competition in 2022 and were described as “utterly sincere, imaginative, and insightful” musicians by Mark Steinberg. Heavily influenced by the Juilliard String Quartet, the name Isidore honors and recognizes their close connection with the school.
The Quartet is comprised of: Devin Moore, violist; Joshua McClendon, cellist; and Adrian Steele and Phoenix Avalon, violinists.
