As part of VCU Music’s Mary Anne Rennolds Chamber Concert Series, the Academy of St Martin in the Fields Chamber Wind Ensemble will perform on Sunday, Feburary 18, 2024 at 3:00pm in the Sonia Vlahcevic Concert Hall in the Singleton Center for Performing Arts.
Formed in 1958, the Academy has a discography of over 500 releases and a rich international touring history. The Academy aims to continue “presenting symphonic repertoire and chamber music on a grand scale.”
The chamber wind ensemble members are: James Burke, clarinet; Tom Blomfield, oboe; Julie Price, bassoon; and Stephen Stirling, horn.
