Virginia took a film class in high school and fell in love with movies – stories and characters in moving images.  After getting a Mass Com degree from VCU, she blended the two to produce commercials as well as long formats these last 35 years.  She has worked in movie development in LA, crewed on a New York feature, ran a production company, produced national TV spots, and created her own projects like a short film for PBS with an NEA grant.

Along the way Virginia has won over 125 awards for both original work and that which she produced for others, including last year for a spoken word piece shot during the BLM and monument protests.  Also recently co-produced an episode for a French doc series and development on a feature film, Moishe.
