Virginia took a film class in high school and fell in love with movies – stories and characters in moving images. After earning a degree in advertising from VCU, she blended the two to produce commercials as well as other visual media for the last 30 years. She has worked in movie development in Los Angeles, crewed on a feature in New York City, managed a production company, produced national TV commercials, and even created her own projects like a short film for PBS with an NEA grant.
Along the way Virginia has won over 100 awards for both original work and work produced for others. In 2014 she co-produced a documentary episode for the French series Cinemas Mystiques for European television. And she is presently co-producer on the feature film, Brooklyn All American, to be shot in Virginia spring of 2020.
