Marge (she/her) describes herself as a lover of movement and languages. She holds an E-RYT 500 YACEP certification through Yoga Alliance, a professional certificate of contemporary circus arts from FLIC Scuola di Circo (Torino, Italy) and a magna cum laude BFA in modern dance performance/choreography with a minor in Spanish from VCU. As a result, her movement style marinates at the unique intersection of dance, contemporary circus, & yoga asana. Upon graduating from the VCU Dance program, she ran away to join the circus – literally! Her chosen specialty at the 2-year FLIC Scuola di Circo in Torino was hand balance and dance acrobatics. Her solo and collaborative works have been featured up and down the east coast of the US as well as in Italy, Spain, France, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Guatemala, and Trinidad.

Since making the shift from circus to yoga, Marge has accrued more than 1000 hours (and counting!) of specialized yoga training in a variety of styles such as Power, Rocket, Ashtanga, Handstands, Contortion, Pre-Natal, Yin, Restorative, Meditation, and Nidra. A pillar in the Richmond yoga scene, she has been teaching full time, creating workshops, leading teacher trainings, designing continuing education programs, and spearheading both local and international retreats for nearly a decade. As a teacher, Marge strives to express her affinity for movement with passion, grace, humor, and an open invitation for folks to explore their own artistry.
