Elizabeth King: Sunday at the Met

“Sunday at the Met” January 26, 2 – 3:30 p.m. in the Met’s Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium.

Elizabeth King will be speaking alongside the show’s curator Wolfram Koeppe, science historian Pamela H. Smith, to reflect on the origins, significance, and lasting legacy of the scientific and courtly collections of early modern Europe. Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Making Marvels: Science and Splendor at the Courts of Europe, where rare Wonder Cabinet treasures from around the world are presented together in a once-in-a-lifetime exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The exhibition is on display from November 25th to March 1st.
