Delta Sound Labs interviews Stephen Vitiello

Kinetic Imaging Department Chair Stephen Vitiello was recently interviewed by Delta Sound Labs as part of their Stream Artists Interviews series. This is a segment on Delta Sound Lab’s blog where they feature sound artists and discuss their recent work. The interview highlighted just some of his accomplishments such as: his sound installations being featured as permanent collections at the Museum of Modern Art, collaborations with many revered artists, and various awards. Vitiello then goes on to discuss a recent collaboration with Scanner, a UK-based electronic musician, and how COVID-19 has impacted his processes and ability to be creative. The interview closes out by discussing performing remotely and the Stream plug-in created by Delta Sound Labs. Though it was a quick interview, it was a great opportunity for someone from this department to openly discuss and display new works and collaborations.
