Communication Arts Show

The Anderson and VCUarts are pleased to present the Communication Arts Show, an exhibition of new works created by students in the Communication Arts department on view on the first floor of the Anderson building.
Comm Arts students focus on widely varying projects in a vast array of mediums—such as animation, digital, painting, illustration, character/prop design, environmental design, children’s book illustration, scientific illustration, storyboarding, and so much more. With this exhibition, the group of student curators sought to reflect everything taught in Comm Arts classes through the creations of the department’s up-and-coming student artists.
The exhibition includes works from undergraduate artists at every level; from freshmen interested in pursuing Comm Arts as their major to seniors who are about to graduate. Multimedia pieces are displayed to showcase all the different mediums and techniques that students experiment with and explore in the Communication Arts department.
