First-year student applicants
Applications for fall 2027 are now open through the Common App! If you are a high school student or a graduate who hasn’t attended a college or university, get started here on your application.
Transfer student applicants
If you are transferring course credits from another college or university or are a former VCU student, apply as a transfer student. Our Transfer Student Application for enrollment in the 2027 academic year opens on August 17.
Graduate student applicants
If you are applying to a VCUarts master’s program, you can get started September 15 when our application for the 2027 academic year opens. Be sure to check your specific graduate program for deadlines and requirements before you submit your University Graduate Application.
Current VCU students
If you are a current VCU student and want to become a VCUarts major, make sure to check your current specific deadlines and requirements before submitting your change of major/minor application. Don't worry, we continue to review applications until all spots are filled.
