The Dairy Barn Arts Center in Athens, Ohio, is looking for entries in its 2027 Quilt National.
Quilt National is an international juried exhibition that highlights innovative textile art. They are especially interested in work that pushes the conceptual, technical, and material boundaries of traditional quilt-making. This is a strong opportunity for emerging artists working in textiles to gain visibility alongside established artists. Following the exhibition at the Dairy Barn, the exhibition tours internationally for two years, offering selected artists significant additional exposure.
CALL FOR ENTRIES: MAY 1 – AUGUST 30, 2026
OPENING RECEPTION: MAY 28, 2027 4-7 PM
ON VIEW: MAY 29 – SEPTEMBER 6, 2027
ON TOUR: OCTOBER 2027 – OCTOBER 2029
ELIGIBILITY:
- The work must be composed of at least two layers and must be held together by elements that merge all layers, and are distributed throughout the surface of the artwork.
- Has not and will not exhibitions prior to May 28, 2027
- Work was completed after August 30, 2024.
- The artwork must be an original design
