The Knight School is searching for after-school chess coaches to join their team! As a Knight School Chess Coach, you will work with The Knight School’s proprietary teaching curriculum to provide developmentally targeted chess instruction to children from Pre-K, all the way up to middle school. This position is typically part-time with an average of 6-15 hours a week (or, roughly 3 hours per school visit), although the weekly hours may vary depending on The Knight School Richmond’s need and the selected candidate’s availability. Classes are typically held directly after our partner schools’ final dismissal bell, with our shifts generally starting around 3PM Monday through Friday, though there are some slots available at noon as well in the case of preschools.
