ArtFields started in 2013 with a simple goal: honor the artists living & working in the Southeast with a week’s worth of celebration and competition in the heart of a traditional Southern small town. Since then ArtFields has grown into an entire organization with year round programming that celebrates art!
Now, the annual ArtFields Festival has become a staple of the region and offers over $100,000 in cash prizes. The winners of two People’s Choice Awards are determined by the votes of people visiting ArtFields; a panel of art professionals selects all the other awards, including the $50,000 Grand Prize and $25,000 Second Place award.
Submission Timeline
- Call For Entries – September 1 – November 1, 2025
- Selected Artists Notified – December 2025
- 2026 ArtFields Festival – April 10th – May 2nd, 2026
Artwork Eligibility
The artist’s submission must be one single work of art. That single work of art may consist of multiple components, but cannot merely be a grouping of components without a conceptual purpose. All decisions in this respect are at ArtFields’ discretion.
Artists may submit one 2-D or 3-D artwork in any medium. The submission may be a painting, sculpture, ceramic work, textile work, photograph, drawing, mixed-media work, collage, assemblage, digital or new media work, video or film production, art installation, performance piece, or any other visual art medium.
