VCUarts and The Anderson are excited to present an exhibition of future art educators; highlighting seniors graduating in 2025, but open to all in the Art Education program at VCU. The exhibition opens February 14, 5-7pm, and will be on view on the top floor of The Anderson in Gallery H through March 5. Inspired by bell hooks words: “The function of art is to do more than tell it like it is—it’s to imagine what is possible.” Outlaw Culture: Resisting Representations, 2012. This exhibition will represent the array of skills and talents possessed by the art education department after completing a variety of studio classes from all art departments and disciplines. Art Education students create innovative work by mixing these disciplines together in their practice.
