Contemporary still-life pop realism painting on reclaimed roofing copper and metal panels built by hand. Michael Fitts’ work is represented by galleries in Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. Fitts attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 1985 to 1989 and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree. Upon graduation he worked as a graphic designer and art director for 26 years. For the last ten years Fitts has focused on his fine art career. Mr. Fitts resides in Charlottesville, Virginia.
