The Anderson and VCUarts are pleased to present images from “Alright can you read this?,” a collaborative exhibition of student artwork by Chris Huynh and Suchanya Lertsaranont from the Graphic Design department. The exhibition was on view from January 16th – January 31st, 2026.

Exhibition Statement:

“Alright can you read this?” is an experimental documentation of personal conversations through digital screens and physical space, reimagined and materialized as a flipboard. Reflecting its origin of Chris and Suchanya’s conversation on experiencing distance with their loved ones at the Pollak courtyard. Standing 5 feet apart communicating on separate Google Doc files on their laptops, typing and responding to each other in complete silence. The act of flipping (screens) is being used as a translative gesture, inviting others to figure out the pieces of the gridded puzzle of sentences.
