The Global Education Office (GEO) and the American University of Rome (AUR) are pleased to offer VCU students a summer study abroad program in Rome, Italy. The program offers an exceptional opportunity to take classes in a wide range of academic disciplines, all taught in English, while living in historic Rome.
Dates for Summer 2026 are as follows:
- Summer Session 1: May 22, 2026 – June 19, 2026
- Summer Session 2: June 22, 2026 – July 23, 2026
We are excited to have two VCU faculty members teaching courses at AUR this summer!
- Dr. Mo Mathews will be teaching PSYC 451 History of Psychology during Summer Session 1
- Dr. Jill Blondin will be teaching an ARTH 3XX Renaissance in Rome during Summer Session 2
Dr. Blondin and Dr. Mo Mathews will be hosting a virtual information session on Thursday, December 4th at 3:00pm via Zoom (registration on RamsConnect).
