Join us on Friday, September 25th from 5-7 for the opening reception of Logjam, an exhibition of artwork by Sculpture and Extended Media student Nathan Varney. The exhibition will be on view from September 25th – October 17th.
Logjam transposes masses of lodged timber found beneath bridges on the James River into the gallery. In a series of performances, and resulting videos, two weightlifters draw on their training to lift and move the logs through its two rooms.
