Film Chronicle is a community-driven platform designed to support emerging filmmakers by providing a space where students can share their work, connect with peers nationwide, and participate in a student-centered film festival experience.
Through Film Chronicle, s tudents can:
Share and showcase their films
Unlike traditional film festivals, our seasonal student festival accepts and showcases films from all current U.S. university film students, completely free of charge. There are no submission fees and no rejections after submission. A unique aspect of our festival is that final judging is conducted by fellow film students, allowing participants to collectively recognize outstanding work from their own generation.
Connect with film students at other universities across the U.S.
By creating a free account, students can connect directly with peers at other institutions, explore each other’s work, and begin conversations beyond their own campus. We are also developing additional features, including a job and gig posting board, to support collaborations, internships, and early-career opportunities.
Their goal is to provide a transparent and accessible platform where students can see what their peers are creating nationwide and build meaningful connections.
