Career Services, in collaboration with Interdisciplinary Studies and Academic Affairs, is hosting an in-person workshop designed to help students recognize their career readiness and develop skills that will support them beyond their first job.
Tuesday, October 6 | 3:00–5:00 PM | SHIFT Retail Lab
The session will explore the difference between preparing for a specific job and building a career through transferable skills and competencies. Students will also have the opportunity to think about career planning as an ongoing process that involves flexibility, uncertainty, and exploring different possibilities. Rather than focusing only on what they have to do, students will consider what they could do and, ultimately, what they want to do.
