Michael Walker (B.F.A. ’16), is a Senior Product Designer at Amazon in New York City. He is the primary designer for the app that powers Amazon.com. He previously worked for a range of clients including Fortune 500 companies, startups, museums, and agencies. He spends his free time volunteering and mentoring designers.

In his lecture, How Not to Get a Job at Amazon, Walker invites you to see how one designer flipped conventional wisdom to go from VCU to Amazon. You’ll learn how to take your own career goals out of the box.

This is a hybrid event. Please register to attend in person at the ICA or virtually via Zoom.
