Christopher Moseley is an Adjunct Instructor of Music Education at Virginia Commonwealth University and the Education Specialist for Performing Arts for Henrico County Public Schools in Henrico, VA. He supports music, theatre, and dance programs across 74 schools, continuing a two-decade legacy of national recognition from the NAMM Foundation as one of the Best Communities for Music Education.
An educator since 2006, Mr. Moseley has taught band, orchestra, and general music in diverse school communities and has been honored as a top teacher at the school, division, and state level. He is President of the Virginia Association of Music Education Administrators and serves on the NAfME Council of Music Program Leaders. His professional affiliations include Phi Beta Mu, Kappa Kappa Psi, ASTA, VMEA, VBODA, CBDNA, and the Minority Band Directors National Association.
He earned his B.A. in Music Education from Bethune-Cookman University, M.M.E. from VCU, and Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from George Washington University. Mr. Moseley maintains an active career as a conductor, clinician, and trumpeter.
