Phoenix Handcraft is a husband-and-wife design studio based in central Virginia. Phoenix Handcraft specializes in handmade works in metal, mosaic, and wood. Individually and together in collaboration, they create commissions and original works of art, furniture, and architectural railing as well as a line of functional and decorative retail products.
Kyle learned blacksmithing through a traditional English apprenticeship. He later earned a BFA in furniture design from Virginia Commonwealth University. Johannah is a self-taught mosaic artist. She has a BA in art history from the College of William & Mary.
