This semester, senior Photo/Film major, Marianna Davis, created work for their thesis 1, centering the body as subject as well as site of narrative for Black queer storytelling. It is an exploration and subversion about identity, especially Black queer identity. The thesis use Marinna as the body as a rendering about exploring internal tensions and intimacy with gender, sexuality, and Blackness.
