An exhibition and memorial honoring time lost to gun violence, on view at Baltimore City Hall

Complete the Day is an ongoing, public, and participatory counter-memorial that honors lives cut short or interrupted by gun violence. The installation gathers reflections from victims’ families, friends, and community members in response to a single question: “How would you like to finish a loved one’s day if it hadn’t been interrupted by gun violence?”

Each square on the wall records a response. Together, they form a collective tribute—an imagined continuation of ordinary days left unfinished.
