Spanish Brass

With a 35-year trajectory in the world of chamber music, Spanish Brass is one of the most dynamic and established groups on the international musical stage. In 2020, Spanish Brass was honored by receiving the National Music Prize from Spain’s Ministry of Culture, the country’s highest musical honor. In 2017 Spanish Brass received First Prize in the Bankia Awards for Musical Talent of the Comunitat de Valencia, and in 2019 they received the Espai Ter de Música Award. They were also honored with five Carles Santos Awards for their CDs XXX,Mira si hem corregut terres… (2019), Les Aventures de Monsieur Jules (2020), Spanish Brass (a) Live(2021) and Resurrección (2022).
Alexander Malofeev, piano

The young “Russian genius” (Corriere della Sera) came to international prominence when, in 2014, he won the International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians at age thirteen. “Contrary to what could be expected of a youngster …, he demonstrated not only high technical accuracy but also an incredible maturity. Crystal clear sounds and perfect balance revealed his exceptional ability” (Amadeus). Malofeev has quickly established himself as one of the most prominent pianists of his generation. His performances have garnered high praise from critics, with publications such as Der Standard declaring his debut at the Musikverein as “a world piano revolution”.

Time for Three

Grammy and Emmy-winning ensemble, Time For Three (TF3), defies convention and boundaries by showcasing excellence across different genres, including classical music, Americana, and singer-songwriter. Their unique sound captivates audiences, immersing them in a musical experience that merges various eras, styles, and traditions of Western music. TF3, consisting of Charles Yang (violin, vocals), Nicolas “Nick” Kendall (violin, vocals), and Ranaan Meyer (double bass, vocals), combines their instruments and voices in a remarkable sound, establishing a distinct voice of expression that resonates with listeners worldwide.

Goldmund Quartet

The Goldmund Quartet is known to feature “exquisite playing” and such “multi-layered homogeneity” (Süddeutsche Zeitung) in its interpretations of the great classical and modern works of the quartet literature. Its inwardness, the unbelievably fine intonation and the phrases worked out down to the smallest detail inspire audiences worldwide. The Quartet is now counted amongst the leading string quartets of the younger generation worldwide which is reflected in their 2023/24 season calendar. Highlights include the Quartet’s debut at prestigious festivals such as Festival Dolomites, Settimane Musicali di Ascona and Viotti Festival in Vercelli, Italy.

Harlem Quartet

New York-based Harlem Quartet, has been hailed in the Cincinnati Enquirer for “bringing a new attitude to classical music, one that is fresh, bracing and intelligent.” Harlem Quartet has three distinctive characteristics: diverse programming that combines music from the standard string quartet canon with jazz, Latin, and contemporary works; a collaborative approach to performance that is continually broadening the ensemble’s repertoire and audience reach through artistic partnerships with other musicians from the classical and jazz worlds; and an ongoing commitment to residency activity and other forms of educational outreach.
