The 2026 RVA Environmental Film Festival showcases films that bring awareness of environmental issues facing our city, region, and our planet.

The festival committee and partners have selected a wonderful collection of films. From learning more about critical issues that we, with our environment face, stories of restoration and hope – this is a festival to connect to communities and for connecting with people who care about the environment. There are films for everyone, and all screenings are free and open to the public thanks to the generous support of the festival’s loyal sponsors.

The 2026 festival runs from February 21 through March 7 and launches at Studio Two Three with all day screenings on Saturday February 21 and on Sunday the 22nd . Studio Two Three is located on Richmond’s south side at 109 W. 15 th Street.

Festival partners hosting screening events this year are the Office for Sustainability at the University of Richmond, Richmond Public Library, Chesterfield Public Library, Henrico Public Library, VCUarts Cinema, and Maymont’s Robins Nature Center. The final RVA EFF screening event will be at the VMFA on March 7 th .
