VCUarts and the Department of Interior Design are excited to offer a new study abroad program in Seoul, Korea for May 2026. Applications are open to all VCUarts departments.
This program is launched as part of a strategic partnership between the College of Architecture at Myongji University (CAMU) in Korea and the Department of Interior Design at VCU. The program aims to foster academic exchange, enhance cultural understanding, and provide enriched learning experiences through a variety of activities, including various cultural site visits within/around Seoul, visiting design firms, architecture studio engagement, the university festival and more.
This faculty-led, 3 credit, 2-week intensive program focuses on observing and experiencing different ways of living in Seoul, Korea, under the theme of “Seoul: The Ways We Live.”
It will be scheduled between May 17 (arrival date in Seoul) and May 30 (departure date in Seoul), 2026.
The itinerary is still in progress. It will be continuously developed until the last minute for our best experience!

This course recruits a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 students.
