Alex Jackson is an artist and writer in the Philadelphia area, forever working on “Color Theory for Ghosts,” a novel in three-dimensional space, each of its chapters unfolding in the form of an exhibition. He holds an MFA from Yale University, a BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and was a resident at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. He has been included in numerous group exhibitions and has had several solo exhibitions at Steven Zevitas Gallery in Boston and Jenkins Johnson Gallery in New York. His work can be found in public collections at The Studio Museum in Harlem, The Santa Barbara Museum of Art, and the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco.
