Come to the Institute for Contemporary Art at VCU’s Markel Center for ICA Full House, a celebration of the Richmond arts community and three new exhibitions in our galleries.

From 1 to 4 p.m., check out the newly opened exhibitions, meet representatives from local arts organizations, attend panel discussions on artist-run spaces and production models; enjoy mini-food-hall offerings in the ICA’s Abby Moore Cafe; participate in make-and-take crafts and free short recording sessions in the VPM + ICA Community Media Center; bring blank T-shirts and totes for free screen printing; hear music from WRIR DJs, and more.

From 4 to 6:30 p.m., we’ll host a reception to celebrate the openings of three shows: Julien Creuzet: Attila cataract your source at the feet of the green peaks will end up in the great sea blue abyss we drowned in the tidal tears of the moon, Lily Cox-Richard: Disquiet in the Sand, and Ayida. Enjoy refreshments, a cash bar, and remarks by VCUarts Dean Carmenita Higginbotham, ICA Executive Director Jessica Bell Brown, ICA curators Amber Esseiva and Egbert Vongmalaithong, and guest curator Serubiri Moses.
