About Molly: Molly Blasdell is an interdisciplinary artist and electronic musician working across sound, video, and installation. Blasdell is particularly interested in how personal histories are fragmented and reassembled through sonic experience. Their recent installation Cyanotypes (2024), exhibited at the Anderson Gallery, investigated storytelling through layered sound and spatial composition, inviting viewers to navigate memory in an immersive, non-linear environment. This work marked a continued shift toward sound-led installation as a narrative medium within their broader multimedia practice. Blasdell’s work has been exhibited at the Anderson Gallery and Artspace Gallery. In 2022, they received the Excellence in Kinetic Imaging Award from the Anderson Gallery’s Undergraduate Juried Exhibition for their sound installation Cognizance, and again in 2023 for their installation film Egret.
