VCUarts and The Anderson are excited to present the Communication Arts Student Showcase. This group exhibition will feature exciting works in a range of media, encompassing the diversity and dynamism of the VCUarts Communication Arts department. The exhibition opens February 14, 5-7pm, and will be on view on the top floor of The Anderson in Galleries A and B through March 5.
Comm Arts students focus on widely varying projects in a vast array of mediums—such as animation, digital, painting, illustration, character/prop design, environmental design, children’s book illustration, scientific illustration, storyboarding, and so much more. With this exhibition, the group of student curators sought to reflect everything taught in Comm Arts classes through the creations of the department’s up-and-coming student artists.
