The Department of Art Education is excited to present the 2026 Student Teaching Showcase! This exhibition celebrates the work of our graduating student teachers as they complete their clinical internship placements. The Student Teaching Showcase highlights teaching, curriculum design, and student learning from placements in Henrico County, Hanover County, Richmond City, and Chesterfield County Public Schools. Join us in recognizing the next generation of art educators and the communities that support their growth!
The opening reception will take place on Saturday, May 9, from 6 – 7:30 PM in the Seipel Gallery in the Murry N. DePillars Building (1000 W Broad St.). The exhibition will be on view May 8 – 13.
Paid parking is available at 1111 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23220. Limited street parking is also available close to the DePillars Building.
