Noah Hook (he/they) is the Senior Admissions Counselor at Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of the Arts, as well as an adjunct professor in Art Foundation. As an artist, alum, and employee, Hook is well-versed in providing thoughtful and critical portfolio reviews and loves to share his knowledge about VCUarts.

Hook is an interdisciplinary artist working across painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, costume, performance, and video. He is also the director of Rump Gallery, a roaming art space where he hosts and curates exhibitions by artists from around the country.

Hook earned an M.F.A. in painting + drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a B.F.A. in painting + printmaking with a minor in sculpture + extended media from VCUarts.
