Howdy! My name is Jessica Casey-Lovelace. I currently work in Communications and Administration for the School of the Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Working primarily with the Departments of Dance + Choreography, Music, and Theatre I am used to working in a high paced, event focused environment.
I received my BFA in Filmmaking; Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies; and MA in English from VCU. My research interests focus on women and maternal representations in film.
When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two cats, being in a book club with my friends, playing board games with my siblings, and trying my hand at bowling.
