Cecilia Kim is a video artist living and working in Arlington, VA. Born in Seoul, South Korea, she has lived in five countries including Australia, England, Singapore, and the United States.

Kim was the recipient of The 19th Trawick Prize: Bethesda Contemporary Art Awards, 2021. Her work has been shown in solo and group shows including The Immigrant Artist Biennial (virtual/NYC), 0 GALLERY (Seoul, Korea), The 6th Louisiana Biennial (Ruston, LA), Target Gallery (Alexandria, VA), The Anderson Gallery (Richmond, VA), Hume Gallery (Chicago, IL), No Nation Gallery (Chicago, IL), and in film festivals including YouFilmFest at the Kennedy Center, NoFlash Video Show, and The Anderson Video Show. Kim has been a resident at Oxbow School of Art and Artists’ Residency, Corsicana Artist and Writer Residency, VisArts Bresler Residency, and Busan International Open Arts Residence. She is currently a Hamiltonian Artists Fellow.
