Renee Lamb is an assistant professor of Fashion Design + Merchandising. Her work focuses on identifying opportunities to increase personal capacity, foster poverty reduction and implement culturally sensitive development through education, informative design, conscious consumerism and corporate citizenship. She is currently the owner/founder of Soulié, an artisan-based social enterprise, and a recipient of the Fulbright U.S. Scholars award. Her designs have been featured nationally and internationally by Vogue Paris, Yoga Journal and others. She has lived and worked in the Middle East and North Africa, South Asia, Europe, Washington D.C. and New York City. Lamb holds a post-graduate certificate in fashion design from Parsons School of Design, an MA in international economics and development from Johns Hopkins University, and a BS in textile and apparel management + a BA in multidisciplinary studies from North Carolina State University.
