Mariah Taghavie-Moghadam (she/her/hers) holds an MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Theatre Pedagogy and Dramatic Literature with an emphasis in Dramaturgy. She specializes in intercultural performance and performance activism. Her original play, “A Miraculous Deliverance,” participated in the Plays-in-Process Program of the Playwriting Symposium at the Mid-America Theatre Conference. She has served on script selection committees for various organizations, including Women’s Theatre and Mid-America Theatre Conference. Her dramaturgy credits include Virginia Repertory Theatre, William and Mary University, University of Richmond, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Virginia Wesleyan University. In addition to her duties as an adjunct instructor for the Theatre Department in the School of Arts, she is also the Senior Educational Specialist for the Department of Educational Leadership in the School of Education.
