Jennie Cook is an Assistant Professor of Fashion Merchandising. While she has worked in merchandising, marketing, digital design, and content creation, the common thread throughout her career has been technology and innovation. Jennie uses design thinking and interdisciplinary collaboration to iterate her courses each semester, testing new concepts, integrating relevant content, and interweaving technology. She has developed new courses, including Merchandising Portfolio and CLO 3-D for the department. Jennie earned a Master’s degree in Product Innovation through VCU’s da Vinci Center and a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising through VCUarts. She was awarded a Faculty Award for Distinguished Adjunct in 2019.
