VCUarts offers a range of creative programs for students in grades K–12, giving young artists and performers the chance to explore their interests in a supportive, university-level environment. From hands-on projects for younger students at the VCUarts Creative Day Camp to immersive experiences in our Music Department programs and Summer Pre-College course offerings for high school students, participants develop their skills, connect with mentors and discover new forms of creative expression.

 

Summer Pre-College Program

Hone your creative skills, develop portfolio-ready art and design work, or craft performance and audition skills while studying with distinguished VCUarts faculty. Open to rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors.

Creative Arts Day Camp

Children in grades K-9 get experience in sculpture, digital media, printmaking, painting, drawing, bookmaking, fibers and more.
