Lindsey Paulette, Cinema Program Alumni (B.A. ’22), will be returning next month for a First Features at the ICA. Let’s catch up with her!
Since graduation Lindsey has been working as an independent contractor on commercials, narrative shorts, features and tv shows both in and outside Richmond. In the Fall after graduating, Lindsey and her team wrapped a production called “The Trip” and it premiered in January of this year! In this film, friends come together for a college reunion trip to the mountains. After finding out a couple in the group secretly ended their five year long relationship, a new romance is found.
The Trip will be screened at the ICA, Sunday, December 1st,2024 at 2:00pm
In addition to also releasing a short film titled Formative Years, Lindsey has published a novel.
Beyond The Fence is a moving story about sisters forced to flee their community due to tragic events and face the challenges of the outside world on their own. The concept trailer for her novel is completed and she is currently working to develop it into her second feature length film!
