Maya Erhardt is an experienced fundraiser with a passion for connecting cultural institutions and other nonprofits to the resources they need to thrive. Over the last 25 years she has successfully led development efforts for art museums, colleges and universities, and a variety of nonprofit organizations, helping them expand their programs and deepen their impact. Her work has not only increased funding but also fostered strong connections between nonprofits and the communities they serve.
As a lifelong Richmonder and daughter of a VCUarts graduate, Maya’s professional experience paired with her belief in the transformative power of the arts and dedication to building community make her well-suited to generate support for the school and its Institute for Contemporary Art. Outside of her professional role, Maya enjoys exploring her hometown of Richmond, Virginia, traveling the world, gardening, and all things art and design.
