Molly Montgomery is a Scene Shop Coordinator at the VCUarts Theater. They hold a B.A. in International and Global Studies with a minor in Dance from Sewanee: The University of the South, blending a background in global perspectives with artistic training.
With a background spanning multiple theaters, Molly has worked in various capacities, including carpentry, painting, lighting, sound, and production supervision. In addition to working with VCU, they are entering their second year as the Production Manager for the Dogwood Dell Festival of the Arts, where they oversee large-scale outdoor productions.
As Scene Shop Coordinator, Molly works closely with students, faculty, and staff to support hands-on learning experiences in theatrical production. They are dedicated to fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative environment where students can develop their technical skills while contributing to professional-quality productions.
