The Senior Capstone Exhibition is an annual celebration of VCUarts’ incredible undergraduate studio arts majors. Spread out across two rounds and occupying three floors, the Capstone Exhibition features challenging, diverse, and experimental programming reflecting VCUarts’ status as one of the leading studio art programs in the country.
Capstone Round #1:
March 13–18*
Opening Reception: March 13, 5–8pm
- Department of Sculpture + Extended Media (Outdoor Space, 1st Floor Galleries)
- Department of Craft + Material Studies (2nd Floor Galleries)
- Department of Kinetic Imaging (Mezzanine & Top Floor Galleries)
Capstone Round #2:
March 22–27*
Opening Reception: March 22, 5–8pm
- Department of Photography + Film (1st Floor Galleries & 3rd Floor: Sponge, Gallery H)
- Department of Painting + Printmaking (2nd Floor Galleries)
- Department of Kinetic Imaging (Outdoor Space, Mezzanine Galleries, Top Floor: Gallery G & Hidden Galleries)
*Special Capstone Hours: We are typically closed Sundays & Mondays, but during Capstone we will be open Sundays 12–5pm and Mondays 12–6pm.
