An alumni of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography. Threatt received a Master’s of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

She is a working artist with over 20 years of professional experience performing, touring, teaching, and personal physical training. She has worked in film/television on Goodmorning America, New York State Development Commercial, CW’s “Katy Keene”, Fox Films “Avatar”, QVC Network, ESPN’s “Sport Science”, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, 2020.

Threatt’s Theatre credits include; Principal dancer in the San Francisco Opera, Dance Captain and swing in Disney’s “The Lion King” on Broadway and touring companies.

Threatt was Principal dancer in Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Dallas, TX. Junior Performing Ensemble Director and choreographer, Dallas Black Dance Theatre. Dancer and assistant to the director at Lula Washington Dance Theatre, Los Angeles, CA. An ensemble member at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, “The Salute to The King, Elvis” and Cirque Productions “Imaginique”.

Bravita Threatt is a former Miss Black Los Angeles of the Miss World Pageant Organization and Miss Virginia Peanut (Suffolk) of the Miss American Scholarship Organization.  She is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.  A native of Newport News, VA by way of her military family. She is a graduate of Woodside High School for the Performing Arts in Newport News, VA.
